rMail v 1.0 (beta)(c) 1991 r.r. roth
1. What is rMail ?
Rmail is a standalone mail program that offers many features not found
in the LANtastic NET.exe mail utility. rMail offers a full screen editor,
complete with word wrap, block moves etc. It also offers a security
feature not found in the LANtastic mail utility, you can mark a message so
only the sender can delete it!
rMail offers full contex sensitive help so this document is not complete
the beta version.
2. Why use rMail?
As a stand alone program your users will not have access to the complex and
often dangerous Net menu.
File names cam be preserved when files are mailed.
rMail searches all servers for mail so a user does not need to look at each
server for mail.
The print command prints out formated message with information on who sent
it.
tMail.exe
There is a tsr version (I am sorry the program was written in C so the tsr
is large and clunky.) It hot keys on ALT . (ALT period) and tMail/remove will
remove the tsr.
3. How do I install rMail?
Installation of rMAIL could not be easier, just copy MAIL.exe and TMAIL.exe
directory on the path. ANET will call rMAIL so it can be copied into the same
directory as ANET.com.
4. How do I use rMAIL?
Just enter mail<cr> to bring up the mail menu and check for mail.

I have tested it on several computers and found that found that it works
well on all of them. All computers have been running LANtastic(TM) NOS v3.03
and above and all running MS DOS 3.3 and above.
